e on the liberal arts. I excelled at maths and science in high school because being a doctor or an engineer were the professions that made parents proud as punch. Unfortunately, that did not work out that way for me. Nonetheless, I learnt the folly of this thinking in business school when the liberal arts students ran rings around the number crunching students - inductive reasoning trumped deductive reasoning.
